Whole30 Approved Smoothie Recipes

If you are currently on or about to begin the Whole30 diet, you know how challenging it can be to find enough Whole30 diet recipes. Whole30 is a diet that focuses on consuming whole foods and the elimination of sugar, alcohol, grains, legumes, soy, and dairy for a 30-day span.

30 days of this diet means at least 90 recipes covering just breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That number does not include all of the snacks and post-workout boosters that you may crave. Point being, that is a lot of meal planning and prepping to do and with such strict rules on what you can and cannot eat. Meaning you need all the recipe inspiration you can find.

Lucky for you, we have you covered. We gathered up some of the most delicious Whole30 compliant smoothie recipes for you to try and enjoy. Smoothies are great to have as a snack in-between meals to curb hunger or to jump-start your morning.

The Perfectly Blended Green Drink from Seed + Salt   

1 medium Fuji apple, sliced with core removed
1/4  cucumber, peeled or thoroughly washed, cut into large cubes
2 to 3 leaves kale, thick stems removed
2 to 3 leaves romaine
Thin slice of fresh ginger
A few sprigs parsley
A few mint leaves
Squeeze of half a lemon, or to taste
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup ice

Thoroughly clean your vegetables and fruits. Add prepped ingredients to Tornado Shaker and blend for 30 seconds.

Strawberry-Raspberry Almond Smoothie from Three Squares

1/2 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight
1 cup water
1 cup frozen organic strawberries
1/2 cup frozen organic raspberries

Drain the almonds and rinse them well. Place them in your Tornado Shaker with the fresh cup of water. Blend for a minute, or until the almonds are very smooth. The mixture will resemble almond milk. Slice the frozen strawberries and add them to the shaker along with the raspberries. Blend until smooth.

Breakfast Smoothie from O'Boy! Organic

1 cup frozen berries
1 banana
1 ripe avocado
1 cup spinach or kale
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 pack of superfoods protein packet
1 cup water
½ cup coconut milk
handful of ice

Place all ingredients into your Tornado Shaker and blend until smooth then enjoy!
